This project was, or rather is since it’s still under construction, for a couple in Mitchell County looking for more space than their single bedroom house afforded.
After looking at several custom builders in Western North Carolina they decided to hire Rohr and ground was broken in June 2024.
Helene halted construction for a few months but if you looked at just this construction site, you’d never know there had been a storm. It shrugged off 35″ of rain like it was nothing.
The first floor is composed of Superior walls on the outside with 2×6″ framing in the interior.
The second floor is all 2×6″ framing with 2′ joists in the floor.
The house is currently having drywall installed and then floors, paint, stain, interior doors and so on will be added.
